ME014 Black Breather Membrane – Class B Fire Rated (1500mm x 50m)
FR Breather Membrane Black (ME014) is a vapour-permeable, airtight, and watertight polyester membrane designed for use as a full façade breather membrane. It provides high-performance weather and UV protection when applied directly to suitable substrates, such as sheathing boards and thermal insulation.
Supplied in a 1500 mm x 50 m roll, it is suitable for closed, open, or partially open façades and delivers reliable protection across a range of wall build-ups.
When installed over substrates with a minimum fire rating of Class A2-s1, d0, ME014 achieves a Class B fire performance in accordance with EN 13501-1.
For a continuous airtight and weatherproof barrier, ME014 should be used in combination with FR Window Sealing Membrane (ME010) around structural openings such as windows, doors, and joints.
This membrane is compliant with Approved Document B of the Building Regulations for England and Wales and is approved for use on relevant and higher-risk buildings.
Note: Always install with the smooth/coated side facing outward for optimal performance.
