This step helps prevent dehydration and subsequent cracking.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eProduct preparation\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMix with water only, using 4.5-5 liters per bag of product.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePour the water into a bucket and gradually add the Lime Adhesive. Mix for 3 to 5 minutes until the mixture reaches a smooth, lump-free consistency. Adding too much water can weaken the mortar and cause it to crack.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eProduct application\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is recommended to apply the mortar to a thickness of 4 to 10 mm. For thicknesses greater than 10 mm, apply in two or more layers, preferably before the previous layer has hardened.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAdhesion of insulation boards:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003col\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eApply a perimeter bead of mortar 6 to 10 cm wide and 2.5 to 5 cm thick on the board.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eFill the inside of this bead with 2 or more dabs of mortar, 8 to 10 cm in size, depending on the size of the board. The mortar should cover at least 40% of the panel surface.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ol\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor substrates with very good planarity, it is possible to apply the mortar to both the support and the insulating panels (double gluing), using a 10mm x 10mm notched trowel.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eRegularisation on insulating panels with mesh:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003col\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eWait at least 24 hours after adhering the panels.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eApply a combed coat of mortar using a 6-8 mm notched trowel.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eLay the mesh on top of the combed layer.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eFill in the mesh until the \"groove and valley\" are levelled out, but do not flatten it.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eApply a final coat of regularising mortar.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ol\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe mesh must meet the following specifications: 100% fibreglass, minimum mesh opening of 5x4mm, weight of 160 g\/m², and chemical resistance to alkalis.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFailure to follow these application instructions may negatively affect the finish and durability of the final result.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eStorage\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis product is available as a powder in a 25kg paper bag.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStore it in a cool, dry place and prevent any water from getting in.
